Yes, there is a Firebirds game on Sunday
After some serious behind the scenes work by the Firebirds front office, there will be a game at The MVP Arena this Sunday at 1pm.
The Firebirds were originally scheduled to play The Philadelphia Soul but the team froze all business until the 2025 season leaving Albany without an opponent for the upcoming game on 5/19. However, after some meetings were had and phone calls made, Albany will be playing The Southwest Kansas Storm. Kick-off will be at 1pm as originally planned. There will also be an indoor block party before the game starting at 10:30am.
Tickets are available for this Sunday's game at the arena box office or at The Albany Firebirds website.
