Here are some places to stay cool during this heat wave.

With temperatures this week in the mid to upper 90's, over 100 with the heat index, cooling off is going to be key. 

Between pools and spray/splash pads, there are plenty of free places to enjoy all over the Capital Region!

 

Albany - there are spray pads located at

  • Colonie St. Park
  • Hackett Park
  • Lincoln Park
  • North Swan St. Park
  • Rosemont Park

  • Westland Hills Park

 

Troy - there are cooling stations located at Rensselaer Park Elementary School, Historic Market in Little Italy and also at the Lansingburgh Boys and Girls Club.

  • William Chamberlain Riverfront Park

 

Halfmoon - the Town Hall will be open as a cooling station from the 18th through the 21st from 8am - 4pm. They will also be offering water and light snacks.
