Get the slip n slide, use the hose, jump into a pool (or a neighbor's if you don't have one). The National Weather Service in Albany says the heat is on.

The high heat will begin Monday as temperatures approach 90 degrees. Tuesday through Thursday is when record-breaking heat is expected to descend on the Capital Region and surrounding areas.

Brett Rathbun with the National Weather Service in Albany tells the Times Union

It could feel closer to 100 degrees, or even above 100 degrees. Even when you get to the higher elevations, most of those areas will feel closer to 90 degrees.

The high temps combined with high humidity will likely make it feel 100 degrees or hotter.
