Tae Lewis

Singer With Capital Region Connections Lands On Team Reba On NBC's The Voice

Tae Lewis has landed on Team Reba on NBC's The Voice Season 25! Hailing from North Carolina, Lewis has family connections in Upstate New York, where several people have seen his talents singing Country and Gospel at various Capital Region (Albany, NY) appearances.  In 2020, during the pandemic, Kevin Richards invited a regional artist to perform the National Anthem, each day at Noon, on 100.9 The Cat- in tribute to our first responders.  Tae was one of the many local talents that joined Kevin on a regular basis. Now, in 2024, this rising star is finally getting to showcase his talent nationwide.

Although you might just be hearing his name for the first time, he has already made a successful entry into music. To date, Tea Lewis has dropped nine singles, with 'Summer of 21' being the most recent.  In addition, his song 'Good Luvin'' was featured on the Television series Shameless.

Tae released this statement on his Social Media the night he debuted on The Voice:

If I could tell you the story of how hard I’ve been working, you wouldn’t believe me. From singing in church, to living in my car, being told I’m crazy for doing country music, to now being on THE VOICE. The Climb was so worth it if you just KEEP GOING🙌🏾🙌🏾✨
