’Close Up’ Country Concert Fest - CMA Winners, Grammy Nominees and NBC’s ‘The Voice’ contestant head to Wood Theater Glens Falls, NY March 15-17, 2025.

On Sunday, March 16, at 3pm the event features the CMAs Female Vocalist of the Year and Grammy Nominee Janie Fricke! Fricke is best known as one of Country Music’s ‘80s Ladies’, the voice of 18 Number One Hits, one of the industry’s most sought after back-up vocalists (from Elvis to Charlie Rich) and in-demand International Jingle singers (from Red Lobster to Coca-Cola). The afternoon will feature a set of Classic Country Gold by regional favorite The Whiskey River Band.

On Monday, March 17, at 7pm the music plays on with 90s superstar and Grammy nominee Ty Herndon. Herndon was the voice of 17 chart singles, including one of the most played songs on Country Radio for the decade, ‘What Mattered Most’ - followed by the hits ‘Living in A Moment’ ‘It Must Be Love’ ‘A Man’ Holdin’ On (To A Woman Letting Go)’ ‘I Have To Surrender’ ‘Loved Too Much’ and more. Herndon will be joined by an artist with family connections to Upstate New York, Tae Lewis. Lewis quickly shot to fame as a contestant of NBC’s ‘The Voice’ (Team Reba). Moreover, Lewis has gained national acclaim on the Christian and Country Music Charts as a 2025 member of the Academy Of Country Music’s “On Ramp” program and the Grand Ole Opry’s ‘Black Opry’ Touring Revue- honoring groundbreaking African-American artists.

The fun starts on Saturday Night, March 15, 7:30pm with a Free Country Line Dance Night, hosted by Kevin Richards, at Downtown Social on Glen Street in Glens Falls, NY. The evening will feature easy Line Dance lessons and Country Music to kick-off a great weekend of ‘Nashville In The North Country’. Country Music fans are invited to come to town early, and stay to enjoy the beauty of ‘Hometown USA’ - from charming downtown restaurants and shops to the ever-popular Lake George Outlets and attractions.

The ‘Close Up’ series launched in 2023 with Nashville legends like Randy Travis, Aaron Tippin, Larry Gatlin, Crystal Gayle, Pam Tillis, Kathy Mattea, Billy Dean, Suzy Bogguss and more joining Kevin Richards for unique ‘Living Room’ style concert appearances. The series expands to two weekends of music and fun March 15-17, 2025 and October 17-19, 2025. Supported by the Lake George Area Tourism Department.
