Doug Stone Sings His 90s Hits One Last Time

Doug Stone was a regular voice on Country Radio in the 90s with songs like 'A Jukebox With A Country Song' 'Addicted To A Dollar' 'I Never Knew Love' 'Little Houses' 'In A Different Light' and 'Why Didn't I Think Of That.'  Doug broke through in 1990 with his debut hit 'I'd Be Better Off In A Pine Box' and racked up several hits through the early 2000s.

In recent years, Doug has released new music, acoustic projects, and even an album dedicated to his mom, 'Mama's Songbook' (covering her favorite Country Classics). At the close of 2023, Doug Stone made the announcement on social media that he was ready to wrap up life on the road, with this post:

I’ve had a great run.. The Lord has blessed me more than I ever thought possible. Any dream I ever had came true thanks to you, the fans. Let’s do it up big this year! I can’t wait to see you.

God bless & wishing you all a very Happy New Year!

Prior to the post, Kevin Richards had invited Doug Stone to be a part of his 'Close Up' series at the Cohoes Music Hall, Cohoes, NY, on May 17, 2024.  Thankfully, fans in the Capital Region of Upstate NY will have the chance to hear Doug sing all those great hits and chat with Kevin, 'Live On Stage', to offer a proper farewell for fans in the Northeast.

Kevin's 'Close Up' series has included legends like Aaron Tippin, Suzy Bogguss, Larry Gatlin, Billy Dean, Randy Travis, Billy Gilman and more in an 'Up Close & Personal' experience at both the Wood Theater in Glens Falls, NY and The Cohoes Music Hall in Cohoes, NY.  The 2024 line-up includes Doug Stone 5/17, Kathy Mattea 6/7, and The Patsy Cline & Loretta Lynn Tribute 6/9 at The Cohoes Music Hall, with T.G. Sheppard 9/21 and Billy Gilman 12/1 at the Wood Theater. Click For 'Close Up' concert information and tickets.
