Glens Falls Runs The Table, Completes 20-0 Regular Season

The Glens Falls Black Bears beat Gloversville 76-57 at the Washington Avenue Armory in Albany on Sunday, capping a 20-0 regular season that has the Black Bears in line to take the Class A top seed into the Sectionals that begin later this month.

The Black Bears are a multi-threat team, with Kellen Driscoll averaging about 22.5 points per game, and gets solid help from Brody Holcomb's 18 points per game.

Glens Falls has defeated their opponents by an average of double digits all season, with their closest game all season being their January 30th game at Hudson Falls, where they beat the Tigers 68-55.   On January 5th, Glens Falls nearly beat Broadalbin-Perth by 60, winning 82-24.

Next up for Glens Falls will be the Class A Sectional Bracket, which will be announced when Section 2's Basketball Committee meets to draw up the brackets in mid-February.   And maybe, Glens Falls can close the door on a magical season at the COOL Insuring Arena in mid-March at the New York State Public High School Boys Basketball championships.
