Get Ready for Holiday Events!

November ushers in colder weather and shorter days.  But it also ushers in the holiday season, which brings in great traditions new and old in the North Country, including parades and other special events.

If you're heading to one (or all) of these, make sure you say Hi!

THE GREENWICH LIGHTED TRACTOR PARADE

DATE: Saturday, November 23rd
WHERE: Greenwich, starting at Capital Tractor near Middle Falls, traveling down Route 29 through the Village of Greenwich
PARADE STEPS OFF: 6:00pm

What started out as a small event through the village streets of Greenwich has blossomed into a massive tradition that brings in nearly 10,000 visitors to the Washington County town.  The 12th Annual Holiday Lighted Tractor Parade will step off on Saturday, November 23rd, but with a new route.

Instead of starting at the Greenwich Junior-Senior High School and going through Downtown Greenwich like in past years, this year's event will step off at the Capital Tractor near Middle Falls, travel down Route 29 past the McDonald's/Big Lots before heading towards Downtown Greenwich and ending at the meeting of Washington Street and Bridge Street.

There will be food vendors on site and fun going on over at Mowry Park starting at 2pm.

The parade steps off at 1PM and travels up Route 9 (and Route 32) up towards Midtown Plaza.
