Country legend Hal Ketchum was born on April 9, 1953 right here in the Capital Region, in Greenwich , New York. He sadly passed away way too young in 2020 after a long battle with dementia and Alzheimer's Disease. Hal started playing music at the age of 15 and never stopped, He was a regular on the country music charts in the 1990's after releasing his first album in 1991. His hits still ring with fans of country music and include his biggest hit "Small Town Saturday Night", "Past the Point of Rescue", "Mama Knows The Highway", "Hearts Are Gonna Roll" and many more.
